Dear Parents,

Plant the seed of Dhamma early and start inculcating Buddhist values in the child from young. A Buddhist education emphasises intellectual, moral, spiritual, and social development, all of which are essential for a happy and successful life.

Led by Venerable K. Rathanasara, our Torchbearers Dhamma classes for kids, tweens, and teens provide a specially curated curriculum that is conducive for interactive and experiential learning. Students will gain not just Dhamma knowledge, but also practical skills, fond memories, and lifelong spiritual friends.

Give your child the gift that excels all gifts – the Dhamma. Enroll your child in our Torchbearers Dhamma classes for 2023! Classes will be held weekly on Sunday mornings starting from 5th February 2023.

Our Vision & Goal

We strongly believe that we can transform our children to be compassionate and wise human beings. We focus on inner transformation through ethical, mental and intellectual training.

Main Focus

The Dhamma teachings in the children’s classes are primarily focused on (but not limited to) the following Four Areas:

  1. Establishing faith (Saddhā) in the Triple Gem
  2. Fostering a wholesome and ethical character (Sīla)
  3. Cultivating skilful mental qualities and virtues (Samādhi)
  4. Developing wisdom (Paññā)

Teaching Method

  • No homework (paper work) and no exams
  • Children can make their own notes if they wish
  • Learning the Dhamma and applying the teachings in daily life will be emphasised
  • Dhamma will be taught through practical sessions that include interactive and experiential activities
