Gallery: PSLE & O’ Levels Blessing Service – Dhammakami Buddhist Society

On Sunday, September 22, 2024, DKBS’ Founder and Spiritual Advisor, Ven. K. Rathanasara conducted a special blessing service for children preparing for their critical exams, the PSLE and O’ Levels. This service aimed to boost their confidence and well-being as they approached these important milestones.

DKBS wholeheartedly wishes all children be blessed with wisdom, calmness, and clarity during this time. May they achieve success and a bright future.

Each participating student was given one stalk of flower while waiting for the ceremony to start.

Participating students were guided to offer their flowers to the Buddha.

Both PSLE and O’level students were involved.

After presenting their flowers, the students paid respect to the Buddha and made their aspirations.

The students also paid respect to the Sangha.

The usual Puja procession resumed after all the participating students presented their offerings. Volunteers for the puja items gently place the offered items on the altar and paid respect to the Buddha.

Venerable Rathanasara sprinkled blessed water on everyone’s head to bring them good luck, safety and success.

Participating students waited in line for Venerable Rathanasara to tie the blessed strings, which will provide protection and good health to those wearing it.
