There are two rare types of people in this world: those who selflessly offer help to others and those who express deep gratitude by repaying that kindness. However, how can we show appreciation for our relatives and friends who have done so much for us but have already passed away?
The Ullambana ceremony, a profound Buddhist tradition, gives us this opportunity. The Buddha taught that only the merits we generate can truly reach and benefit those who have departed.
On Saturday, September 6, 2025, at DKBS, Dhamma followers gathered to engage in acts of generosity, mindful chanting, and the practice of Dhamma during Ullambana. Through these wholesome deeds, we aim to bring peace, joy, and blessings to their spiritual journeys.
Sadhu! Sadhu! Sadhu!
