The annual Robe Offering Ceremony (Kathina) took place on November 10, 2024, with close to 200 devotees in attendance. The Robe Offering Ceremony, traditionally held at the end of the three-month Rains Retreat (Vassa), is one of the most meritorious deeds commended by the Buddha.
The ceremony was conducted by Venerable. K. Rathanasara and the Venerable Members of the Maha Sangha. In line with DKBS’s belief in education being central to Dhamma propagation, all robes offered during the ceremony will be donated to monks’ training centres in Sri Lanka.
Dhamakammi Buddhist Society extends its heartfelt thanks to all the volunteers whose support made the ceremony possible!
