On 22 May 2024, the highlight of the Vesak Camaraderie was the first in-person Tisarana Ceremony held by Dhammakami Buddhist Society (DKBS) since the pandemic. The Camaraderie had close to 100 devotees participating and reaffirming their commitment to the Triple Gem.
The ceremony included the chanting of the Dhammacakkappavattana Sutta, and the annual tradition of gifting Buddha statues was joyfully observed as a reminder to cultivate a virtuous and mindful life in alignment with the Four Noble Truths.
DKBS looks forward to making the Tisarana Ceremony a feature of future Vesak celebrations, encouraging all to make spiritual aspirations and further strengthen their practice.
