This Sutta centres on the importance of having the right views as this will influence our thinking, speech and actions which will eventually transform us to be either superior or inferior human beings. Why is it important to have the correct views? As the Buddha defines, it is akin to planting a sugar cane seed, and whatever nutrients it takes from the soil and water, all conduces to sweetness because the seed is auspicious. And when a bitter melon seed is planted, whatever nutrients it takes from the soil and water, all conduces to bitterness, acridity and distastefulness because the seed is evil. Learn the 3 main aspects of Right View which lead to Enlightenment and avoid the 10 harmful Wrong View that bring us constant suffering and get us stuck in the cycle of existence.
