Today’s Dhammapada reminds us that a virtuous life brings happiness, both in the present life and the hereafter.  In the story of Dhammika, a virtuous and charitable lay follower of the Buddha, we learn about the vision he had not long before he passed away.  How is this possible?  What do stories of near-death experiences tell us about the nature of our mind and how kamma works?
