The Dhammakāmi Buddhist Society (DKBS) was inaugurated with the ‘Buddhism is a path of transformation’ vision.
Our founder
Born in the South Eastern Sri Lankan village of Kanugolle, near the small town of Bibile, Venerable K. Rathanasara became a novice monk in 1984 at an early age of twelve.
Our mission
Our mission to serve as an effective vehicle to propagate the noble teachings of the Buddha (Dhamma).
What we do?
We conduct Dhamma classes, social and charitable events. We do this, we do that.
